As a recently converted anti-gunner, I naively thought "God will provide. God will protect." Especially when it was a scarier thought to trust my husband or myself to protect us if something happened. Honestly it's still very scary. And it still scares me to have guns in our home, even though we're turning into an armory. I don't think someone will read a flyer and it will be an epiphany, but it can be a small seed planted that will help them learn, discover, and evaluate over time. Fear is a difficult emotion to harness even with reason. |
